The short version. GorillaOS is an independent, fan-made toolkit for Gorilla Tag. Be 13+ to use it and 18+ to buy. Paid plans are monthly and renew automatically until you cancel — you can cancel anytime. Mods change how a game runs, so use them at your own risk: doing so may break Gorilla Tag's own rules and could get your game account restricted. GorillaOS is provided "as is." These are the full terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and GorillaOS ("we", "us", "the operator") governing your use of the GorillaOS website, launcher, mods, and related services (the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (and meet Discord's minimum-age requirement) to use the Service. To make any purchase, you must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
GorillaOS is an independent, community-made set of modifications and tools for the game Gorilla Tag. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Another Axiom, Inc., Gorilla Tag, Meta, Valve/Steam, Discord, or any other third party. All product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
You sign in with Discord. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Discord login secure. You agree to give accurate information and not to impersonate anyone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use GorillaOS for your own non-commercial use. You may not:
All rights in GorillaOS not expressly granted to you are reserved by the operator.
Use mods at your own risk. GorillaOS modifies how Gorilla Tag runs on your device. Using third-party modifications may violate the terms of service, rules, or end-user license agreements of Gorilla Tag, Another Axiom, Meta, Steam, or others, and could result in warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans of your game or platform accounts. You understand and accept these risks. You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and for complying with the rules of any game or platform you use it with. We are not responsible for any ban, loss of access, data loss, or other consequence resulting from your use of the Service.
Because the Service is digital and access is granted immediately, payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If you are an EU/UK consumer you may have a statutory right of withdrawal; by starting to use paid features immediately you may waive that right for the portion delivered. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll work with you in good faith.
The Service works with third parties (Gorilla Tag, Discord, Stripe, Steam, Meta, and optional AI/voice providers). Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. Optional AI features may require you to supply your own third-party API keys, and you are responsible for any costs and terms tied to those keys. AI-generated text and voice are provided "as is" for entertainment, may be inaccurate or unexpected, and should not be relied on for important decisions — don't submit anything you wouldn't want processed by a third-party AI provider.
You agree not to use the Service to: break any law; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; distribute malware; attack, overload, or probe our systems; or resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with any particular game version, or that it will not cause account restrictions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, accounts, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive (licensing limits, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity) survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas for any dispute, except where applicable consumer-protection law grants you rights in your home jurisdiction.
